We opened the doors at Crafted Kitchen and Taps as part of a small start-up franchise in 2016 with the sole intention of being a family-friendly place where all are welcome at our table. Our name changed because although we have always been individually and locally owned & operated, we are happy to now be fully independent as well.
Embraced quickly by our local community, we know our friends and neighbors have been the secret to our success. Every part of what we created was designed to give those friends, neighbors, families, coworkers, and acquaintances a place to gather in a welcoming environment where craft beer lovers, a family with kids and a church group can hang out — side by side.
Beer is a big deal here. With 100 ever-changing taps, it is obviously a passion. We enjoy helping everyone, from the beer curious to experienced connoisseurs, find their palate and try new flavors.
But we are beer enthusiasts, not beer snobs.
Even if you’re new to craft beer, you will feel right at home. We love turning people on to new tastes they might not have thought of, and samples and information flow freely. We will always serve sensibly, treating all customers to the best brews while keeping our vibe open to the youngest members of your family.
Even though beer is big, food is not just an afterthought. Our chef-driven menu has a huge variety including some of the best wings in Houston, burgers, wraps, tacos, desserts, etc. and our famous “crack” dip. You don’t even need to know what that is, just know you’ll want it! We also happily offer ciders, wine, seltzers, meads, rotating frozen drinks (margarita and frose are frequent options) and non-alcoholic products.
So bring your family and friends to see our friendly staff. Enjoy a cold drink and great food, and then take a couple of your new favorites home in one of our growlers or crowlers. We know you’ll find something you love!
