Growler USA Owner, GM, Get Cooking on Fox 7 Austin

“Come for the beer, stay for the food,” is the mantra beginning to develop in Austin about Growler USA. In this segment, which was so much fun, our GM Louis shows how to make one of our more popular dishes: Ahi Tuna! The Fox 7 Austin website even gives you the recipe so you can try it at home!

We wouldn’t recommend, however, trying to tap 100 craft beers at home. Best to get to Austin’s Growler USA for that.

Growler USA featured on Good Taste TV

We LOVE this Good Taste TV: Tanji Patton & Growler USA segment from KEYE-TV’s We Are Austin, and only mostly because they talk about us! Jordan and Tanji enjoy our Blackened Mahi Wrap, Chicken Avocado Club Sandwich, BBQ Brisket Sliders, Mac and Cheese, and Spicy “Bat” Wings.

We recommended beers to go with each dish and Jordan tried them all! Atta way to start the day, Jordan!

Tanji really captures the Growler USA experience in a sentence. Jordan talks about the incredible variety of local craft beers on tap and Tanji responds, “You’ll go for the beer, but know you’re going to get some great food as well, at Growler USA.” We couldn’t agree more.

It’s a fast, fun segment, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Growler USA – Austin UT Gains National & Local Notoriety on National Beer Day

national beer dayNational and Austin media welcomed Growler USA so nicely with their coverage of our National Beer Day specials on April 7, 2016. You may have seen us in:

Bustle offered a history of and tips on how to enjoy National Beer Day, and gave Growler USA as an example. Of course they did!

Locally, we were especially proud to have been mentioned in Austin Monthly, Austin 360, Drinking Austin, and Eater.

Nationally, we were also featured in Hollywood LifeParent Herald mentioned us as one of The Most Awesome Beer Deals Across the US, and if you think craft beer has emerged as its own industry, Time, MoneyTalksNews, and Fox News agree. Our National Beer Day specials got mentioned there too!
