We’ve seen bars with a big selection of beer on tap, but Growler USA (162 Tracker Drive, growlerusapolarispointe.com) breaks the 100-tap mark, all craft, putting them in a class of their own. This spot, one of 14 currently open for the Eugene, Oregon-based chain, held its grand opening on May 1. It’s the company’s third in the state, joining locations in Centennial and Louisville. The Springs establishment is owned by Navy veteran Ben Woessner and his wife, Julie. According to a press release, all servers and beer tenders have received Cicerone training (like sommeliers for beer), a critical qualification for helping drinkers navigate the scores of brews available. Springs highlights include offerings from Red Leg, Bristol, Cerberus and Trinity. In addition to craft beers, Growler USA offers wine and kombucha on tap.
